User Manual
This is a playbook on everything Igor. It captures more about me and how I tend to operate in a working environment.
According to Myers-Briggs, I'm likely a Commander (ENTJ-A) type: Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging, Assertive. I think this description is a solid one.
👍🏼 Strengths
- Efficient and results-driven: I actively root out inefficiency and bring energy to my responsibilities.
- Strategic leadership: I plan ahead, think about the future, and excel at spotting problems and making decisions that move projects forward.
- Ambitious and decisive: I’m highly ambitious, comfortable taking charge, and thrive in leadership roles where I can make pragmatic decisions.
👎🏼 Weaknesses
- Operating without context: I can struggle contributing to decisions where I don’t have sufficient context or background.
- Starting simple: My brain will skip baseline approaches and try to do too much, too fast. Don't be afraid to rein me in.
- Overextending myself: I get excited by lots of things and sometimes that means I spread myself too thin.
🛠 Principles
- Growth mindset: I’m constantly challenging myself to improve. When I get too comfortable, my work and happiness suffer.
- Opinions are useful: People and products should be opinionated. Taking a stance helps move the conversation forward.
- Clear communication: Don't be afraid to share your thoughts, especially when it's everybody's matter. Share all the relevant details and get the message across efficiently.
- Time for thought: I block off time to explore ideas that might not relate to current projects. Without this time, I feel like a machine.
- Systems thinking: Break large problems apart and understand the bigger picture. High-level helps moving forward.
